Return Policy

All our items, excluding saddles*, come with a "3 day examine and fit" trial policy. This allows you 3 days after receiving your item(s) to look it over, and try it on for fit to be sure you are satisfied with your purchase. Then you need to call or email the shop and let us know if you will be returning or keeping your purchase. All items MUST be returned in the SAME condition as received, freight charges prepaid. Freight charges in either direction are the responsibility of the purchaser and are NOT refundable. All refunds will be handled in the same form as payment was made. Any items returned damaged or dirty will be subject to a minimum 20% surcharge of the cost of the item. Consigment and close-out items are sold "as is" with no warranties implied or perceived. Ride/Decide Saddle Trial Policy

Trial Period and Payment Responsibilities

• The customer must cover the cost of the saddle with either cash or credit card authorization
  
• The customer is responsible for insured freight to and from The Chubby Pony.  Freight is not refundable. All shipments must be made with United Parcel Service unless other arangements have been made in advance with the Chubby Pony..
  
• The customer has 5 days upon receipt of the saddle to determine whether or not he or she is keeping the saddle and must notify the shop of their decision. If returning, we ask that you pack the saddle very carefully and email or call with the UPS tracking number.

Usage Surcharges

• Saddles may be girthed up and ridden in with stirrup leathers. New saddles require the wrapping of the stirrup leathers in a saran wrap type product to prevent "rubbing" on the flaps. Saddles are to be returned in the same condition in which they were received. With new saddles, girth buckle marks on the billets is acceptable. After all, we expect you to girth it up and ride in it.
• Any saddle returned with excessive wear on the flaps, scratches in the leather or dings in the pommel, cantle or elsewhere will automatically be assessed a minimum 20% surcharge of the saddle value.
